E-Tax Woes
Dear Australian Tax Office,
Seriously guys, What the fuck? This is the fifth year that you've had e-tax and you still haven't worked out that the load on the servers is going to be big on the last week of October? Seriously? Are you a bunch of idiots? BUY MORE SERVERS. You obviously don't have the resources to handle the load. And really, if you are going to have the servers down all the time so that whenever someone tries to prefill their returns they just get an error, how about fucking checking if they ever managed to download their data before locking them out of the prefill service for downloading their data more than 5 times. HELLO!!I downloaded my information successfully 0 times, why the fuck are you locking me out "as a security measure and precaution". Do the guys who write this Software even know what they were doing or have any qualifications?
When I call this e-tax help desk number they better answer my call and unlock my account quickly and easily, but from my current e-tax experience i don't have high hopes.

Well they managed to answer my call quickly only to inform me that it's a 24 hour lockout and I just have to wait. Why the hell didn't it say that in e-tax? Also it doesn't solve my problem, I'm still going to have to wait till some ungodly hour of the morning when everyone is asleep before trying again on Thursday morning or I'll just get locked out again.
